The FIRST EVER BMW CCA Club Racing North American Challenge Race will be held at Texas World Speedway on March 22-23-24, 2002. The Houston Chapter will act your host. The track is an historic, dedicated road course featuring 15 turns on 2.9 miles with a 100 ft elevation change, two long straights, a "carousel" turn and a technical series in the "esses". For all you club racers who have wondered how you stack up against racers in your class from around the country, this is THE chance to find out. It's time to put up or shut up ....
Friday is practice day and it includes a 10 lap "fun" just to get things going. There will be THREE races including two sprints on Saturday and a 1.5 hour enduro on Sunday. The price for all three days is $295. In addition to the usual array of contingency prizes and gifts from our national sponsors, we anticipate a sizeable tow fund cash and prizes. The further away you tow in from, the more chances you get at those prizes.
Get a group together ... share a transporter, or come by yourself. Be a part of Club Racing history. Be a part of the BMW CCA Club Racing North American Challenge Race. Be there !!!
