Houston Chapter BMW Car Club of America

Inaugural Concours d’Elegance April 29, 2001

What
is a concours you may ask? A Concours d'Elegance is a gathering together of automobiles in competition for judging their relative merits in terms of coachwork, design, finish and appointments. The most important factor is the degree of cleanliness and the condition of your BMW when compared to other BMWs entered in the same class. A team of judges will evaluate each class. Within each team, the judges will be assigned a specific area (e.g., exterior, interior, storage compartment, etc..) to examine, thus assuring consistency in assessing point values.  Those with older or high-mileage BMWs will not be at a disadvantage because bonus points for age and mileage will be awarded.

So come join us and show off  your bimmer!  We want to have fun with as many BMW owners as possible.  If you have no Grey Poupon, don't worry! This will be a fun and friendly competition for the betterment of our daily drivers or garage queens.  If interested please RSVP David Meaux at dpmeaux@pdq.net
