Effective immediately, the discussion forums on the club web site are being phased out due to lack of use and the amount of effort required to maintain them. Existing content will be left online for reference purposes for the time being.

2017 Officer Elections

The time is drawing near for officer elections. The positions of treasurer and secretary are open for candidates, as well as all of the appointed positions. Read Article IV of the chapter by-laws for a description of the officer positions. Bill Krupowicz has agreed to run for another term as treasurer, and Diane Albrecht has agreed to run for another term as secretary. Click on the document at right for more information.

BMW Car Club of America Foundation CAR RAFFLE

The BMW CCA Foundation is selling raffle tickets ($20 each) for a chance to win a 2-year lease on a BMW M235i or a set of (4) tires. The raffle proceeds will benefit Street Survival and BMW CCA Foundation programs. The drawing will be held LIVE during the awards ceremony at the Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival and Concours d’Elegance on November 1, 2015.

We only have 2000 tickets to sell – so the odds of winning are good!

Here’s the catch… we cannot sell tickets online – so people will either have to purchase a ticket from a representative at one of our upcoming events (see below) or print the form and mail payment (postmarked by October 15) to the BMW CCA Foundation office in Greer, SC.:

We would be grateful if you were to spread the word to your friends and BMW CCA Chapter members. I have attached an image for Social Media, the official raffle flyer/rules page and the downloadable form for mailed in entries. The simplest technique would be to send your friends and members this link which will take your followers to our website: http://www.bmwccafoundation.org/2015-raffle/.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

Motorsport enthusiasts just don't realize how utmost satisfying the 90s BMW M3 sports car really were and still are many years later. “It maneuvers like a F-16 jet fighter and does zero to sixty in godspeed seconds, with the exception of g force, that is”, that pretty much summed up what [...]

In an abundance of finishes, the violet shades of BMW's finishes are returning to relevance in a big way. Recently, we've seen several Daytona Violet builds and now, European Auto Source have showcased a fetching looking Techno Violet Metallic BMW E36 M3 build. The E36 M3 first arrived in the United [...]

A little while back, we talked about a funky little SUV that was designed by Bertone, built by Daihatsu and powered by BMW — the BMW Bertone Freeclimber. It was probably the oddest combination of automotive brands to ever collaborate on one vehicle (if you know of one weirder, please [...]

Porsche. We've all heard someone else mispronounce it. Maybe some of you mispronounce it yourselves. I, undoubtedly, have done so at least once in my life. There is only one way to pronounce it, that is correctly. Right? As a German word, the German pronunciation should, arguably, prevail over any [...]
