Board Elections Notice

Annually certain executive board positions come up for election. This year the treasurer and vice president are up for election. If you are interested in joining the board of one of the largest and most active BMW clubs in the country, please reach out. You may contact the nominations committee at nominations@houston-bmwcca.com

Treasurer

Due to term limits, our treasurer, Steven Carstens, will be stepping down at the end of 2026. If you have an accounting background and are interested in learning more about the treasurer’s position, please reach out to the nomination committee. If only one qualified candidate applies for the treasurer position, that candidate can be appointed by the board without an election.

Vice President

Our current vice president, Richard Lo, has indicated he intends to run for an additional term as vice president. Any Houston BMW CCA member may challenge Richard for the vice president position, and a formal election process will take place. If you are interested in learning more about the vice president position, please reach out to the nomination committee.

Volunteer board positions

Besides the executive board members, the greater board is made up of many volunteers overseeing the different functions of the club. Volunteer board members are not elected but rather appointed by the executive board. If you are interested in learning how you can help with BMW CCA, please reach out to the nomination committee. Next year our social events coordinator will be moving away and so if you have an interest in organizing and managing our social events, we would love to hear from you.
